Earthships are completely off the Grid, functioning
independently from all services or utilities. They gain
energy from just natural resources, such as Solar energy,
Wind Energy or Hydro Energy, depending on the climate the
house is located in. It is important to mention that an
Earthship system can be adopted to any climate in the
world.
Mainly the power is gained from solar Energy. Solar panels
are installed and the energy stored in batteries, all
organized by the POM (Power Organizing Module).
With water nearby there is also the possebility to install
hydro technolgies to gain energy from there if the flow
rate is high enough. Wind Turbines can also be installed
additionally and all power sources are then again organized
by the POM.

In addition to the use of 100% natural energy resources the
house will be fully equipped with energy saving
appliances.
